<p><strong>Care Assistant</strong></p> <p><strong>Norwich, Swaffham, Dereham, Fakenham, North Walsham, Cromer, Mundesley</strong></p> <p><strong>&#163;12.50 - &#163;13.00 per hour</strong></p> <p><strong>35 hours a week contracted&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Working hours are 7am - 2pm and&nbsp;2pm - 10pm and working every other weekend</strong></p> <p><strong>Are you naturally caring and want to make a difference in people’s lives?</strong></p> <p>If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our dedicated local care team, as a domiciliary care assistant for Manorcourt Homecare.</p> <p>In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their health, wellbeing, and independence.</p> <p><strong>What would a typical day look like?</strong></p> <p>Whilst no day will be the same in this incredibly rewarding role, responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)</li><li>Supporting with the administering of medication</li><li>Assisting with meal preparation</li><li>Providing companionship and offering social interaction</li><li>Carrying out light domestic tasks and occasional food shopping.</li></ul> <p>You will build meaningful relationships with the individuals you support, your fellow carers and your branch support teams; promoting our company values, which are at the heart of everything we do.</p> <p>Due to the nature of this role, good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Access to your own transport is an advantage but not essential.</p> <p>Whether you are an experienced care assistant, support worker, or someone new to care, we provide full training and ongoing support to help you thrive.
